3 lines (A for the green, B for the yellow and C for the red line) run through the city from east to west and from north to south.
The subway is open from 4:30am to 1:15am (the exact time for each station depends on the time of passage of the first and the last trains). The last trains leave each terminus at midnight.
The subway runs at regular intervals: every 5 to 10 minutes in regular hours, every 2 to 5 minutes in peak hours, and every 20 to 25 minutes in off-hours.
The platform in subway stations is in the middle with tracks on both sides.
The problem for foreigners is to figure out which track to choose.
It is quite simple if you use of the panels hanging above the platform, which indicate the direction of the trains and their end station, according to the station in which you are and the station towards which you are heading.
