The tour will first take you to the Estates Theater dating from the 18th century, where Mozart himself performed. The next stop will be by the National Theater and the Smetana Embankment, from where you will be able to admire a gorgeous view of the castle and Charles Bridge. You will discover some major features of the Old Town and the New Town, among which the long Wenceslas Square, which was the stage to some of the most important events of the 20th century.
The tour will take you across Charles Square and down back to the embankments, where you can admire the contemporary architecture of the “Dancing House”. You will then cross the river to reach the colorful Malá Strana District with its major sight: the Baroque St Nicholas church.
The visit of the Prague castle, exterior parts only, will be made on foot. The minibus will be waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs below the castle, and it will take you to the medieval Charles Bridge, to be crossed on foot. A short boat ride (about 45 minutes) will enable you to see the city from the river and to ride on the little “Devil’s Canal”.
The end of the tour will be done on foot: you will go through the building of the Klementinum – a former Jesuit school – and reach the Old Town Square, where you will find among others the famous astronomical clock dating from the 15th century.
