This hotel is located just below the Prague Castle, and it merges elegance with simplicity. The furnishings in this former Augustinian monastery from 1284 are superb and fully respect its genius loci.

Traces of the past are numerous and well preserved, including vaulted ceilings, protruding beams or original doors. Each of the spacious rooms or suites is original, the decor inspired by Czech Cubism.

The hotel restaurant serves outstanding meals made with seasonal ingredients, and the local house beer, St. Thomas (svatotomášské pivo). The beer brewing tradition was started by the monks several centuries ago. As a matter of fact, a few monks still live there.
