This enchanting, little, 25-room hotel is located in the Lesser Town district – between the Old Town and Prague Castle – directly opposite the former military academy, which is now the seat of the Czech Government. The concept of this boutique hotel is to pay homage to famous musicians or singers by dedicating rooms to them: from Andrea Bocelli through Bob Dylan, all the way to Beyoncé.
As far as the interior is concerned, all the rooms are furnished in Scandinavian style, always accentuated by touches of bright colors, such as fuchsia or turquoise. The cosmetic products in the bathrooms, like hand soap, shower gel and shampoo, are from the French brand L’Occitane. A nice French touch to be appreciated, especially if this is your favorite brand!
The hotel also boasts a rare oasis of serenity in the shape of a charming little inner courtyard, ideal for a quiet breakfast in the summer, or simply a moment to relax by the hotel bar. In winter, the Club Lounge, where you can relax in comfortable armchairs, watch TV or read, is open all hours of the day and night.
The best rooms in the hotel, like the Deluxe room, offer a superb view of the Prague Castle, thanks to the large roof windows.
If you intend to spend a weekend in Prague, this small, pleasant, family-run hotel is just the place. There is just one downside to it though: air-conditioning is only available in the rooms on the top floor.
