This business is all about a classic approach and an attractive old-world style. “The name BONVIVANT’s Cocktail Tapas Café doesn’t suggest a classic cocktail bar but an all-day institution, just like such places back in the 1920s, and not only in New York,” say the owners.

In its short existence (the bar opened in 2013), BONVIVANT’S has carefully, bit by bit, built up a reputation as a respected venue. In line with modern trends, the bar organises special activities on various anniversaries and appears in pop-up events across the Czech Republic. In return, the bartender invites bar staff, from Britain for example, to share their art. Some people visit BONVIVANT’s for the excellent cocktails, some hedonists love the champagne, and others go for tapas. And that doesn’t mean a plate with two measly olives but a more substantial meal. Try the confit of duck with berry vinaigrette.
