This establishment, whose windows are adorned with aromatic plants, is a popular choice for breakfast, which includes eggs Benedict made with eggs from the Polabí region, as well as buckwheat porridge and homemade doughnuts. At lunch, you'll often be able to order dishes inspired by Asian cuisine, whether it's a plate of sushi and fish, satay from Indonesia or bibimbap from Korea. But you may also find halušky with brynza (a type of gnocchi) from Slovakia, or a traditional Czech dish such as Christmas kuba, a pan-fried barley with mushrooms. Among the restaurant's most emblematic dishes is pork belly roasted in hoisin sauce and served with knödels filled with pickled vegetables. At Bistro 8, there is no service, dishes are ordered from the bar, where you can wait and choose a cake or a homemade soda, ranging from traditional lemonades to fermented soft drinks.
