Café Terapie
The menu at Café Terapie, located beneath the Vyšehrad site, is rather succinct and contains mainly fresh pasta dishes in traditional formulas such as carbonara, amatriciana or the combination of salmon, crème fraîche and white wine. You'll also find two types of risotto, as well as other dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine: salmon tartare, tomato velouté, grilled aubergine and courgette, and hummus. For those looking for a quick snack with a glass of wine, there's a selection of mortadella, rosemary-flavoured sheep's cheese, Gruyère from Switzerland and Comté from France, chorizo and proscuitto. As for the dishes of the day, they are less fanciful and generally designed to serve as lunch: lasagne with béchamel sauce and various cheeses, stuffed quarter-farm chicken, tomato quiche, ratatouille and semolina... From time to time, there is also a Czech speciality, such as goulash with Karlovy Vary knedlíky. But these are generally in the minority when compared with Mediterranean dishes: don't hesitate to visit Terapie when gnocchi with chicken breast and prunes or rabbit with Dijon mustard are on the menu.
