Artěl
Established in 1998 by an American designer,Artěl specialises in handcrafted Bohemian crystal glassware. Since then, the company has built up a considerable reputation, evidenced, among other things, by two shops in the centre of Prague and clients such as Burberry, Gucci, and Rolls Royce. In addition, in 2008, Artěl won a Designblok award for the best collection.
All of the pieces are mouth-blown and then hand decorated, and the glassmakers are following centuries-old traditions. The mouth-blown technique means that no two items are exactly the same.
At the Artěl shops you’ll find jewellery, glasses and tumblers, vases, and many other original items to take home.
There are 2 shops Artěl in Prague.
Part of the Old Town shop is used for small exhibitions on the art of glassmaking.
