Main description
Nestled within the majestic grounds of Prague Castle, Lobkowicz Palace offers a daily cultural experience not to be missed. In an intimate atmosphere with perfect acoustics, you’ll enjoy a chamber music concert performed by professional musicians, including members of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. The program features masterpieces by Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Smetana, Dvořák, and more.
Afterward, explore the private Lobkowicz family art collection — one of the oldest and most distinguished noble collections in the Czech Republic. Entitled The Treasures of the Lobkowicz Collections, it features works by Velázquez, Brueghel, Veronese, and Rubens, along with musical instruments, original manuscripts, and scores by Händel, Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven. The exhibition also showcases arms, armor, ceramics, and porcelain pieces.
After the concert, unwind at the Lobkowicz Palace Café on the ground floor, where you can enjoy traditional Czech cuisine for lunch or indulge in a homemade pastry with coffee or tea. The café includes three charming areas: an elegant indoor tea room, a terrace with panoramic views of Prague, and a Renaissance-style courtyard.
