Main description

Spend the last night of the year in a splendid way. On board one of the country’s most modern boats, you’ll enjoy a lavish buffet with unlimited drinks, a DJ, an entertainer, karaoke and a New Year’s Eve quiz – in other words, a magical evening of delicious food, live music and all-night entertainment. You will be accompanied by amazing views through the beautiful glass roof which will capture the magical atmosphere of illuminated Prague’s historical sights and a spectacular midnight fireworks display.

The boat is divided into two parts:

• Gold: the main part of the boat with a glass roof
• Silver: the front part of the boat; all tables in this part are placed along the windows

Menu

CANAPÉS (4 pcs per person)

• Smoked Norwegian salmon marinated in dill with lemon crème fraîche on light bread
• Roast beef on dark bread with Dijon mousse
• Camembert with cranberry jelly on light bread
• Duck liver (not fattened) pâté with Port and Cognac

STARTERS

• Beef carpaccio with rocket, capers and shaved Parmesan
• Cheese platter with grapes, walnuts and fig marmalade – selection of foreign cheese
• Shrimp ceviche with shallots and chilli peppers
• Pumpkin tartare with bread crisps
• Home-made chicken liver pâté with cranberry sauce
• Chicken galantine with pistachios and sweet chilli sauce

SALADS

• Bocconcini salad with cherry tomatoes and lime dressing
• Greek salad with olives and feta cheese
• Caprese salad (tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, balsamic vinegar)
• Coleslaw with home-made mayonnaise and carrots

SOUP

• Mediterranean bouillabaisse with fennel and mussels

MAIN COURSES

• Beef cheeks in cream with root vegetables, cranberry jelly and home-made semolina gnocchi
• Duck leg confit with red cabbage and Carlsbad dumpling
• Carved bone-in Prague ham, sour lentil soup and home-made sauerkraut
• Chicken mini schnitzels, mashed potatoes with roasted onion
• Pork tenderloin with hollandaise sauce, sundried tomatoes and olives
• Seafood paella

DESSERT

• Home-made tiramisu
• Vanilla panna cotta with raspberries
• Apple strudel with walnuts
• Mini-desserts
• Fresh fruit bowl with mint garnish

DRINKS

• Welcome drink: Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene or non-alcoholic drink
• Unlimited consumption of selected drinks: Pilsner Urquell beer, wine (2 types of white, 2 types of red, 1 type of rosé), soft drinks (Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Mirinda, 7UP, Schweppes Ice Tea, orange juice, apple juice, water), coffee, tea
• Glass of Prosecco for midnight toast

In line with an old Czech tradition, lentils with Prague ham off the bone (sliced right in front of the guests) and homemade pickled cabbage will be served at midnight. Doing so is said to bring prosperity in the following year.

Before you go

• You can start boarding at 8 p.m., the boat departs at 8:30 p.m.
• The cruise ends at 1:30 a.m.
• The boat departs from Čechův Bridge, sails to Vyšehrad and then comes back
• The cruise can be booked for a minimum of 2 people

Cancellation conditions

• Cancellations from 1st until 30 November: 20% of the price is charged
• Cancellations from 1st until 27 December: 50% of the price is charged
• Cancellation from 28 December: no refund
