Main description

The Grand Hotel Bohemia was founded in the 1920s and is one of Prague’s most prestigious hotels. During the First Czechoslovak Republic, the Boccaccio cabaret played in the hall in the basement, and there the cream of Prague society held lavish parties, a tradition that continued during the communist era. Even today, the Boccaccio Hall has lost none of its sparkle. The beautifully restored interior, full of stucco decoration, gilding and crystal, will make you feel as if you are in the set of the biggest Czech historical films.

The Mozart Dinner is an ideal opportunity to experience the magical atmosphere of celebrations in days gone by. The entire hall will be lit by candles, and Mozart’s most famous opera arias will be played, accompanied by excellent dining. Extracts from Don Giovanni, the Marriage of Figaro and the Magic Flute will be played by period musicians. They include soprano Gabriela Kopperová and baritone Daniel Klánský, as well as a quintet of members of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra.
