Main description

The Municipal House Restaurant, whose history dates back to 1912, is one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau restaurants in Europe. The interior of the restaurant is the work of F. Kraumann, J. Wenig and Ant. Baumgartl and son. On Christmas Eve, you can enjoy a festive five-course menu inspired by French cuisine.

• Baked foie-gras, gingerbrad, pear
• Fish soup, caviar
• Bergamot sorbet
• Feather blade beef larded with lardo, truffle, escargots, cep-bacon sauce
• Pâte à choux, nougat mousse, orange jelly with cinnamon and Cointreau, salted caramel ice cream

VEGETARIAN MENU

• Amuse-bouche
• Smoked tempeh, gingerbread, pear, cognac
• Pumpkin soup, coconut milk, roasted sunflower seeds, croquette
• Bergamot sorbet
• Truffle ravioli, vegan cheese sauce, porcini mushrooms, vegetables
• Red bean brownies, chocolate cream, plum sorbet with poppy seeds

Before you go

• You can reserve your table from 5:30 p.m. onwards
• There will be background music (Christmas carols) during the dinner
• Drinks are to be ordered on the spot and remain at the charge of the customers
