La Bodeguita del Medio
This establishment brings a touch of Cuba to the heart of the Czech capital. The renowned bar, with a colonial feel, is a favourite stop of Praguers and tourists alike since 2002. Presidents, celebrities, and office girls come here, as do students, and each has their own reasons – a quick drink, something interesting on the Creole menu, or a Cuban cigar, available for purchase in the adjoining specialist shop. What’s more, from Wednesdays to Saturdays the kitchen is open until 3 in the morning.
