Main description
Some cities are simply visited. Others are discovered step by step. Český Krumlov is one of those places where you naturally take your time.
Located in South Bohemia, this UNESCO-listed town is renowned for the harmony of its architecture and the unique atmosphere that flows through its winding streets along the Vltava River.
This excursion has been designed as a well-balanced and fluid day, built around two key highlights: the visit of the castle and the exploration of the old town.
You begin with the vast Český Krumlov Castle complex, one of the largest in Europe, explored through the main visitor circuit. Renaissance and Baroque interiors, preserved décor and a remarkably intact atmosphere offer insight into the history and influence of the Rosenberg and Schwarzenberg families who shaped the site.
The experience continues in the old town, where you are guided through its narrow streets, colourful façades and emblematic landmarks. The pace adapts to you – whether you wish to take your time, pause, explore in more depth or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
Depending on your interests and the time available, the experience can be enriched with an additional visit – such as the castle museum and panoramic tower, the former stables, the Baroque theatre, the Egon Schiele Art Centrum or Port 1560.
Everything is arranged so you can remain fully present.
A private car with driver picks you up directly at your hotel, where your guide will already be waiting for you. From the very first moment, you are looked after, with no logistical concerns to manage.
It is precisely this combination – expert guidance, flexibility and seamless organisation – that gives the experience its full value.
An elegant and immersive day, particularly appreciated by travellers seeking authenticity and discovery at their own pace.
