* Enjoy a performance of DÉJÀ VU, applying the techniques of black light theatre, which has its origins here in the Czech Republic.
“I fear the day when technology overtakes human interaction. Then the world will have a generation of idiots.”This quote by Albert Einstein has become the motto of the DÉJÀ VU theatre performance, which is intended for adult audiences and, with humour and a good amount of exaggeration, deals with the serious problems of contemporary life – lifestyles dependent on new technologies and the decline in human relationships. When you watch the performance, you’ll have a distinct feeling of déjà vu.An emotionally-charged tale full of special lighting effects, colour, dance and music unfolds before you. Thanks to sophisticated black light theatre techniques, the imaginative scenes follow each other in rapid succession. One minute you’re on the seabed and the next minute you’re transported to an artist’s studio. Then, all of a sudden, you find yourself riding a bike through the streets of Prague. The various forms of love depicted will turn you on, and the hilarious portrayal of the human brain will have you in stitches. Then, for a change, you can wallow in some nostalgia at the notorious composition of the previous century. And if you want, you can become part of the performance…At the end of the show you’ll be able see the whole stage lit up. The back section emerges from the darkness, and all the secrets of black light theatre will be revealed.
* The performance starts at 8 p.m.
