This restaurant near the Bethlehem Chapel boasts three inspiration sources: the French, Italian and Scandinavian culinary traditions. Fish has always been the strong point; Chef Pavol Pavlik is not afraid to use carp, a traditional Czech food. He combines the fish with pomelo, lentils and garlic to create a dish that bears no resemblance to local classics. In contrast to competitors specialising in French cuisine, Le Terroir is not afraid to do things differently, and includes vegan dishes on the menu. Overall, the chef gives more room to light dishes and proves that Beef Bourguignon is just one of many possible forms of the French tradition.
The Le Terroir cellars, with rounded stone ceilings, offer an ideal location for discreet private and business meetings. And given the well-stocked wine cellar, it’s better to reach the restaurant other than by one’s car.

Want to know a secret?

Le Terroir offers a degustation menu, which profiles the creations of the local chef and offerings from the wine cellar. The menu is based on the food of several specific French regions. Delicious amuse-bouches are served in addition to the current menu.
