Behind the high windows of the “Glass Palace” extends a space that successfully imitates the external elegance of the building. Clean lines, a combination of black and white with wood: in short, the design is stylishly effective. This style goes very well with Japanese cuisine, itself modest in terms of spices and the arrangement of ingredients. Apart from Japanese, Sakura also offers other Asian cuisines such as Thai, and spring rolls, traditionally from Vietnam. However, the main draw remains sushi. You can depend on the absolute freshness of the fish and the precise seasoning of the rice. The range of flavour combinations is more than varied, so there is something for everyone.
Sakura is on the ground floor of the Glass Palace, a Functionalist building constructed by Zemská banka to the designs of Richard Pozemný. The structure is part of the architectural pride of the neighbourhood.
